Employbridge Search Group is excited to partner with our client to source and hire a Regional Sales Manager for their company in Pennsylvania. This is a stable company with growth, advancement, and a healthy work environment. This company will continue to grow and is looking to add a strong leader to their team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel with Territory Managers several days per week.
  • Develop relationships with key accounts in every territory. Develop, build, and nurture relationships and network with vendor partners.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the veterinary distribution business, the competition, the products, vendors, and the marketplace.
  • Responsible for equipment sales in assigned region. Must be adept at promoting various pieces of equipment to the sales force.
  • In cooperation with Human Resources, recruit and hire Territory Managers.
  • Assure attendance at state meetings within their region, complete associated paperwork, and coordinate coverage of territories.
  • Attend conferences and conventions as needed. Attend National Sales Meeting annually.
  • Coordinate reps co-travel days with manufacturing Reps to assure relationships with key vendors are developed and maintained.
  • Execute company strategy and specified programs, making certain this direction is fully carried out by each of their Territory Managers.
  • Complete weekly activity reports and review weekly report/call logs for each Territory Manager.
  • Conduct coaching sessions with each Territory Manager with an emphasis on sales skills and product knowledge. Conduct performance reviews with each Territory Manager.
  • Stay informed of new products and promotions.
  • Coordinate quarterly regional meetings, monthly conference calls, and do the weekly call in as required.
  • Provide coverage and work in a territory in which a Territory Manager is on leave, or no Territory Manager is currently hired.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President, the Director of Sales & Marketing, and Associate Sales Directors.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • B2B sales experience
  • Veterinary industry experience preferred
  • Customer service driven and focused
  • Able to organize one's own activities. Flexible.
  • Results and goal oriented.
  • Able to negotiate and build rapport.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
